This year National Russian League of Instructors (ISIA) first time decided to make Alpincourse for ski and snowboard instructors in Russia. The course was organised by Moscow Mountaineering Federation and they asked me to teach on this programm. This was a big honor for me.

Skitour and freeride with view on Elbrus.

This year we have tried new hut in Adil-Su valley - the hut "Ochag". That's why our skitour programm was in new format - it was not a summer backcountry camp with tents but on the other hand it was not a one-day skitour walk. We had time and possibitily to ride some not so short and popular lines.

In the beginning of the freeride season we share report about avalanche incident happened near Elbrus last winter to remind everyone about bad decision making and risk management.

So, I had two groups for 10 days each, with differets routs and weather. We had very different expierience - sometimes great powder, so it was almos impossible to ski, sometimes it was very hot and snow was covered by crust, sometimes we had funtastic untouched slopes.
